Vivid 2.13 macOS

Vivid allows users to double the brightness of their MacBook Pro and Pro Display XDR system-wide!

The new MacBook Pro and Pro Display XDR feature displays that can reach up to 1,600 nits of brightness. By default, these brightness levels can only be achieved when watching HDR video or using Metal apps. Until now.

Vivid uses standard Apple APIs to allow users to make their screen more than twice as bright.

Vivid can double the brightness of Pro Display XDR on other devices, too.

How do I install the app?
Mount the image, drag the app into the "Applications" folder and launch it. If the system blocks the launch, allow it in "System Settings → Privacy & Security".
