  1. works for my MacBook Pro 2019 Intel chips. If failed, try to remove the folder “/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat” after you uninstall the old version Acrobat.

  2. For some reason it asks for adobe login even after correctly following the steps. I did same steps on another Mac and it worked fine. Does anyone know which files or keychain hold the license information so i can completely reset it? I had installed acrobat (latest version) via brew couple of days ago.

  3. Alright, first things first. This app is legit and works.

I can confirm that this version of Adobe Acrobat (2023.006.20320) works with macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and PRINTING WORKS FINE.

However, there ARE some things you have to take note of in order to make it work.

Adding on to the steps provided by “Dan” and “taycracks” above, here’s what you need to do:

    After installation using Setup.dmg,
    1. Patch the distiller

    2. Copy AdobeAGB & libInjectLib.dylib files into “/Applications/Adobe Acrobat DC/Adobe Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A”

    3. Open Terminal

    4. Copy to Terminal:

    sudo codesign -f -d -s – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/AdobeAGM

    5. Copy to Terminal:
    sudo codesign -f -d -s – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/libInjectLib.dylib

Note: If you get “error: The specified item could not be found in the keychain.” That is likely due to copy/pasting error. Somehow this page formats the characters differently. So what I suggest for you to do is delete and retype the “-” characters manually yourself. If all else fails, just type the whole god damn command from scratch yourself.

    That should do it.

Now you get start Adobe Acrobat.

I’ve spent almost a couple of hours trying to get this thing to work so hope this helps you guys out.

DO NOT PUT INTO ROSETTA MODE.

      The right one’s:
      sudo codesign -f -d -s – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/AdobeAGM
sudo codesign -f -d -s – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/libInjectLib.dylib Put these into Plain Text TextEdit App and then replace the ‘-‘ with ‘-‘ and voila its works.

    – Open Apps Folder>Adobe Acrobat DC
    – Right Click on Acrobat App>Click “Get Info”
    – Check box “Open using Rosetta”

    It’s Intel based.

I followed these instructions from some guy above:

    After instal setup.dmg,

    1. Patch the distiller

    2. Copy AdobeAGB & libInjectLib.dylib files into “/Applications/Adobe Acrobat DC/Adobe Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A”

    3. Open terminal

    4. Copy to terminal “sudo codesign -f -d -s – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/AdobeAGM”, without ” “, of course, and press enter.

    5. Copy to terminal “sudo codesign -f -d -s – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/libInjectLib.dylib”,without ” “, of course, and press enter.

The only difference is that I edited one of the dashes above for both step 4 and 5 to a single dash. If you copy/paste what I put above, then it should work.

  16. Worked for me thanks! First I copied above mentioned terminal command without any modification and app did not start of course. THEN I replaced all – (dash) character to the “optically same” – (dash character, the smallest one found on Your keyboard) and THAT worked (You have to replace the – characters to – characters, ALTHOUGH they look the same!!!!)

    Reply
      • I cannot explain this better: You have to use the smallest dash on Your keyboard to change the exact same looking short dash character from the text You copied from here. No matter, what You see the text copied from here, You have to change it in terminal to execute the command precisely. I hope this will work (for me it worked).

Installed, did the Distiller patch, copied the crack files but Acrobat just closes itself. I also tried those commands on terminal but didn’t do anything. Still not working …

  20. A lot of people are not able to run the command:
    sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app

The problem is the following: you NEED to replace the dashes “–” with hyphens, check on the internet the difference, then it will work 😉 also on Mac Mx with Sonoma without Rosetta.

      sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app

      Reply
      • THIS IS CORRECT! YOU NEED TWO EN DASHES. The problem is that two EN dashes cannot be typed into these comment fields; these comment fields combine two EN dashes into a single EM dash.

You must type it like this:

        sudo codesign[space][-][-]force[space][-][-]deep[space][-][-]sign[space][-][space]/Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app

Just remove the brackets, use EN dashes, and hit the space bar in place of “space”. Does that make sense?

          sudo codesign[space][-][-]force[space][-][-]deep[space][-][-]sign[space][-][space]/Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app

            “”””

            [-]. is – ( from En Keyboard)

  26. sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app

Note: Previously I run the command “sudo spctl –master-disable”, without “”, but I think you don’t need at all.

    So, let’s start:

    1. Patch the distiller

    2. Copy AdobeAGB & libInjectLib.dylib into “/Applications/Adobe Acrobat DC/Adobe Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A”

    3. Open terminal

    4. Copy to terminal “sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/AdobeAGM”, without ” “, of course, and press enter.

    5. Copy to terminal “sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/Frameworks/AdobeAGM.framework/Versions/A/libInjectLib.dylib”,without ” “, of course, and press enter.

Now, I think you have your Adobe working. I have Sonoma in M1.
