DaVinci Resolve Studio for macOS (Multilingual)
DaVinci Resolve Studio by Blackmagic Design is an all-in-one post-production app for Mac. Editing, color correction, visual effects and audio mixing all live in a single program, so you never have to export and re-import between different tools. Whether you are a solo YouTuber or part of a studio team, you can move from one stage of your project to the next with a single click.
It is widely used on feature films, TV shows and commercials, and it handles everything up to 8K resolution.

What Is DaVinci Resolve Studio?
DaVinci Resolve Studio is the paid, full version of Resolve. Compared to the free edition, it adds extra ResolveFX and FairlightFX plugins, support for 4K, 8K and higher resolutions at up to 120 fps, advanced noise reduction, HDR grading, stereoscopic 3D tools and multi-user collaboration.
Key Features of DaVinci Resolve Studio
1. Fast Editing with the Cut Page and Edit Page
The Cut page is built for quick-turnaround work like commercials, news and social content. It has a simplified layout that lets you import, trim, add transitions and titles, match colors and mix audio quickly. When you need more control, the traditional Edit page is only a click away, and you can switch between both styles in the middle of a project.
Playback stays smooth even with demanding formats such as H.264 and RAW, which makes trimming and scrubbing much less frustrating.
2. Fusion for VFX and Motion Graphics
Fusion is the built-in visual effects and motion graphics engine. It offers over 250 tools and a node-based workflow where you connect effects like a flowchart. With its 3D compositing engine you can create cinematic effects and broadcast graphics without leaving Resolve.
3. Professional Color Grading
Resolve’s color tools are the main reason many colorists choose it. You get primary and secondary correction, curves, tracking and stabilization. Its 32-bit float image processing and YRGB color science let you change brightness without disturbing the color balance of your highlights, midtones or shadows. It also works well for HDR and wide color gamut projects.
4. Fairlight Audio Post-Production
Fairlight turns Resolve into a complete digital audio workstation. It includes a full mixer, EQ and dynamics processing, sample-level editing, ADR tools, sound library support and FairlightFX plugins. For projects that need it, Studio also supports 3D immersive audio.
5. DaVinci Neural Engine (AI Tools)
The Neural Engine uses GPU-accelerated machine learning to speed up repetitive tasks. Features include:
- Speed Warp motion estimation for smooth retiming
- Super Scale for upscaling lower-resolution footage
- Automatic color balancing and color matching
- Face recognition to sort clips into bins by person
6. ResolveFX Plugins
Studio includes a large library of ResolveFX for film grain, advanced noise reduction, blur and mist effects, vignettes, drop shadows, object removal, analog noise and damage, chromatic aberration and more. You can view and edit ResolveFX keyframes from the timeline curve editor on the Edit page or the keyframe panel on the Color page.
7. Multi-User Collaboration
Editors, assistants, colorists, VFX artists and sound designers can all work on the same project at the same time. The collaboration setup includes a universal timeline, bin and clip locking, built-in chat and timeline comparison tools.
8. Blackmagic RAW Support
Blackmagic RAW is a modern codec that gives you the quality of RAW footage with the speed and manageable file sizes of regular video formats.

Hardware Control Panels
If you grade or mix professionally, Blackmagic also makes dedicated hardware. DaVinci Resolve control panels give you hands-on control of several parameters at once with weighted trackballs, knobs and dials. For audio, Fairlight consoles offer a modular design so you can start with a frame and add modules as your studio grows.
