Version 5.8.7:

• Workarounds for Bugs in MacOS 26 (Tahoe)
  To avoid bugs found in the initial release of Tahoe, SoundSource now stops processing audio in problematic configurations. Find more details, including workarounds, in our support article.
• ARK Plugin Updated to 12.3
  The ARK plugin which powers SoundSource’s audio handling has been updated to version 12.3. This updates makes small improvements to audio handling.
• SoundSource now correctly becomes the active application when the “Show SoundSource” global hotkey is used.
• A gradual memory leak triggered by device updates has been fixed. Thus correction improves interface performance.
• A bug where VoiceOver would incorrectly say “currentudio device” instead of “current audio device” has been corrected.
• A new “Auto-adjust device sample rates to avoid Tahoe bugs” hidden setting has been added and enabled by default. We recommend leaving it on, so SoundSource will automatically adjust sample rates to avoid lost audio caused by a bug in Tahoe. Nevertheless, you can disable it if you wish. • SoundSource 5.8.7 Is for MacOS 14.5 and Higher
  This variant of SoundSource supports MacOS 14.5 and higher. On MacOS 11 through 14.4.1, a different variant is automatically used, with no action required on your part.
