Zorba Polyphonic Synthesizer – The Tyrant for MacOS
Zorba is a powerful polyphonic synthesizer capable of evolving from classic analog-style tones to completely unique sonic landscapes. It blends vintage inspiration with modern modulation depth, making it musical instantly from the first key press.
01 · Three Voices (Two Morphing + One Sub)
VCO1 and VCO2 share a single morph control that continuously transitions between saw, square, triangle, and sine waveforms. VCO3 acts as a fully independent sub-oscillator, tuned one octave below the main voices, with individual control over tuning, gain, and filter routing.
02 · Dual Filters – 904-F State Variable Design
Zorba features two independent filters inspired by the classic 904-F State Variable architecture, offering four filter modes:
- Low-pass
- Band-pass
- High-pass
- Notch
Each mode smoothly transitions through multiple character stages, from clean response to resonance self-oscillation, transformer-style saturation, and extreme “Black Hole” tonal behavior.
03 · Advanced Modulation Matrix (174 Routes)
The modulation system includes 10 sources routed across 38 destinations, creating up to 174 flexible modulation paths. Multiple sources can be assigned to a single target and combined for deep sound design possibilities.
No slot limits and no complex setup—Zorba is designed to sound musical immediately after loading.
Developer Note
The installer may fail validation on Intel Macs using Logic Pro. Compatibility improvements are currently required for full Intel system support.
