Unfold 2.8.2 macOS
Unfold is an app that dramatically expands the capabilities of the built-in Quick Look feature. If your Mac refuses to display the contents of a folder, archive, or file containing code when you press the space bar, Unfold adds support for over 250 file types that the system can’t preview by default.
What you can now view:
• Folders: Shows the total size of all contents, not just a list of files.
• Tabular Data: Displays columns as columns rather than as a string with commas.
• Text files: Supports a long tail of formats that macOS leaves blank.
• Archives: View the contents of RAR or 7z without having to unpack them.
• Source Code: Syntax highlighting for all the expected languages and many unexpected ones.
• LaTeX: Displays both inline and inline mathematical formulas.
• Markdown: Supports charts, math, and a sidebar for heading navigation.
• Torrents: Shows contents and size without running the client.
• Web Archives: Saved pages are rendered as real web pages.
• E-books and comics: Chapters, illustrations and comic archives.
• Subtitles: Read the captions before you apply them to the video.
• Applications (.app): Shows what the application actually is before it is launched.
